A.T Medicare operates a network of more than 100 medical centers handling sample testing requests from vendors. SF Solutions built InterLab, a standalone business web application, to manage the full workflow — from request submission through testing to results distribution.
The Challenge
Coordinating sample testing requests and results across a network of over 100 medical centers required a system that could track a request from the moment a vendor submits it, through testing at the receiving medical center, to getting the completed results to the hospitals that need them — without relying on manual, center-by-center follow-up.
The Solution
SF Solutions developed InterLab to handle three stages in one platform: vendors submit testing requests and samples through the system; the receiving medical center processes the sample, runs the test, and records results directly in InterLab; completed results are then published and made available to hospitals that need that information.
The Results
InterLab now runs across A.T Medicare’s network of more than 100 medical centers, giving vendors a single point to submit testing requests and giving hospitals direct access to published test results.
