The Challenge

Before this implementation, a significant share of INET’s transaction processing depended on manual re-entry and a supporting automation workaround that was itself time-consuming to maintain. INET needed the new system to replace that workaround entirely, while also handling parent-subsidiary consolidation with intercompany eliminations, and lease accounting under TFRS16.

The Solution

SF Solutions built a direct API integration layer connecting Odoo to INET’s existing digital workflow, billing, and payment systems, so customer records, sales orders, invoices, receipts, purchase orders, payables, and credit notes are created and synchronized automatically rather than re-keyed by hand. The implementation included Thailand-specific e-Tax and e-WHT compliance built into the transaction flow, a multi-company consolidation setup covering parent-subsidiary structures with automated intercompany elimination and consolidated financial statements, and a TFRS16 module handling lease contract booking, financing-lease debt clearance, depreciation, and deferred tax calculation. Additional custom functionality included equity-method profit recognition for joint-venture holdings and project-based expense allocation.

The Results

Running on the first two rollout tracks live today, the system now processes more than 5,000 invoices a month through automated, API-driven transaction flows. INET has moved from periodic to real-time financial reporting, closes the books faster each month, and has eliminated the previous automation workaround that was consuming staff time on repetitive transaction handling.
